The Thames Valley District School Board has announced a new case of COVID-19 coming out of Locke’s Public School in St. Thomas.
The positive case was confirmed by Southwestern Public Health and Thames Valley immediately notified staff, and parents and guardians of all Locke’s students.
SWPH is currently investigating the case and is in the process of identifying close contacts.
There are currently 4 active cases at Davenport Public School, 2 at Summers’ Corners Public School, 2 case at Parkside Collegiate Institute, and 1 case each at June Rose Callwood Public School, Mitchell Hepburn Public School, John Wise Public School, Kettle Creek Public School, Eva Circe Cote French Immersion Public School, and East Elgin Secondary School.
The London District Catholic School Boards reports a single case at St. Anne’s Catholic Elementary School in St. Thomas.
