With the Christmas season now behind us and new toys and devices getting their fair share of use as we begin another provincial shutdown, the STEAM Education Centre is looking for donations of old computers or tablets to help give back to those in need.
Throughout the pandemic, STEAM staff have been refurbishing desktops and laptops for people who lost consistent access to a computer due to COVID-19.
With more people learning and working from home, not everyone has the same access and STEAM wants to bring new life to old devices through their re//BUILD.IT Community program.
Those who would like to donate an old PC, Tablet, or Computer can contact the STEAM Centre to arrange a drop off time.
