A London nurse who spoke at an anti-lockdown rally in Washington just before the violence at the Capitol this month has been fired.
Kristen Nagle was one of two Canadian nurses who drew attention for speaking at the rally on January 6th.
The London Health Sciences Centre says Nagle had been suspended without pay in November for actions “not aligned” with its values, although it would not provide specifics.
It says an internal investigation is now complete and she has been terminated with cause.
Nagle also appeared at Freedom Rallies in Aylmer and St. Thomas.
She is currently being investigated by the College of Nurses of Ontario as a result of her actions.
