The urgency of the dealing with mental health issues is being magnified by the pandemic.
Former TSN host and mental health advocate Michael Landsberg tells myFM – these many months of the pandemic has sharpened the point of need for Bell Let’s Talk Day.
Lansberg tells myFM – the wrong perception that mental illness is a weakness is a problem in itself right now.
He adds people sharing with strength, their struggle, is important.
Landsberg says if you’re suffering from mental illness – change is hope… and sometimes hope begins with making an appointment with your family doctor.
Landsberg says as always, Bell Let’s Talk Day will focus on the power of sharing stories of mental illness so that society gets it and deals with it.
