Thanks to a new partnership between A&W Canada and Mealshare, a night out to eat can also mean supporting the local community.
Mealshare believes nutritious food is essential for all children and work to supply youth in need with healthy meals.
A&W in both St. Thomas and Aylmer have signed on to help the initiative and for every Mealshare Item purchased at an A&W location, one simple healthy meal will be provided to a youth in need in the community.
On ‘Mealshare Mondays’, customers can order a Cheddar Bacon Uncle Burger Combo and one meal will be provided to a youth in need through Mealshare or any day of the week, customers can “Make it a Mealshare” by adding $1.00 to their order.
Locally, meals will be provided in St. Thomas through the Ignite Youth Centre and in Aylmer, the East Elgin Community Assistance Program.
