In preparation for the new Spring Break, the city of St. Thomas has announced registration is open for public skating for the week of April 12th.
Taking place at the Joe Thornton Community Centre each day from 11:30am – 12:30pm and again from 1:30pm – 2:30pm, participants must pre-register for skating as a maximum of 25 people are permitted on the ice at one time.
A course calendar has been created, outlining the times and activities still available each day.
Each booking consists of an hour time slot, costing $3 per skater.
All participants will be asked to complete a daily COVID-19 self assessment prior to entering the facility and face coverings will be required and must always be worn while in all public spaces when not on the ice or engaged in a sports activity.
More information is available at Stthomas.ca.
