Provincial police are investigating a sudden death case in Dutton Dunwich.
On April 4th at approximately 4:00 a.m., members of the Elgin County OPP responded to a report of a death at a residence in the area of Duff Line.
The Elgin County OPP Crime Unit is now handling the investigation with assistance from the OPP Forensic Identification Unit and under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch and the Office of the Chief Coroner.
No other details have been released, but police say they believe it to be an isolated incident and that there’s no threat to public safety.
