Both the Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board have reported cases of COVID-19 at schools in St. Thomas.
In their most recent update, the TVDSB reported 2 cases at Forest Park Public School and an additional case at Mitchell Hepburn Public School.
The LDCSB also reported 2 cases at St. Anne’s Catholic Elementary School.
All cases have been confirmed by Southwestern Public Health, which is working closely with the cases to identify close contacts.
There are now 12 active school cases in St. Thomas/Elgin including 2 at Central Elgin Collegiate Institute, 2 at New Sarum Public School, 2 at Forest Park Public School, 2 at Mitchell Hepburn Public School, 2 at St. Anne’s Catholic Elementary School and 1 each at Parkside Collegiate Institute and Assumption Catholic Elementary School.
