With restaurants once again sidelined to offering pick up and delivery options to their customers, the second annual Takeout Day in Canada will encourage residents to support local.
Taking place on Thursday, April 15th, the community is encouraged to support our local restaurant owners and workers buy ordering take out, explains St. Thomas Roadhouse Owner Sam Aboumourad.
The hope is that Canada can set a record for the most takeout ordered in one day, globally.
Locally, the St. Thomas Roadhouse, Braxton’s Tap & Grill, The Bistro, Snack Wacky Foods and others will be participating.
Aboumourad adds that the day also serves as a reminder to residents that they are still here.
