As announced Friday, a half-dozen local groups and organizations are going to share in over $600,000 in provincial funding.
MPP Jeff Yurek advised the money is to help them recover and rebuild from COVID-19.
Pearce Williams Christian Centre will receive $80,000, which executive director Joe Richards says this will help them come out strong and serve the community.
Richards says the funding will better help serve children and youth at the facility.
Richards notes some of the funds will be use to hire personnel to implement new fundraising strategies.
