94.1 myFM and My Broadcasting Corporation radio stations are taking a break from Facebook.
Company President Jon Pole says there’s no shortage of information from medical professionals suggesting social media can sometimes sap your brain-power.
Pole says MBC decided the best course of action is to lead by example.
All radio stations in the MBC network will take a break from Facebook from April 26th until May 2nd.
Pole adds that Facebook is only a small slice of the pie MBC serves daily.
Pole says it will be a good mental holiday from things that just don’t matter.
