Oxford OPP this morning (Saturday) advised they have laid additional charges against the Bridges of Tillsonburg Golf Club. The club has been charged with two counts of failing to comply with the Reopening Ontario Act. The case will be dealt with June 3 in Woodstock court.
Also, five individuals at the club were charged yesterday under the same section of the act. Derek Rogers, OPP Regional Media Relations Coordinator confirmed the five were golfers.
Earlier this week the club was charged with failing to comply with the provincial act.
The Bridges of Tillsonburg opened their links to golfers last weekend but for several days no charges were laid.
The OPP is requesting businesses and members of the public voluntarily comply with the government-mandated shutdown and the Stay-At-Home Order.
