St. Thomas Police have seized over $18,000 in illicit drugs following a traffic stop in the city Monday afternoon.
The incident began when officers spotted a male known to them as a suspended driver operating a motorcycle with an unregistered plate.
Thirty three year old Justin Caudle was arrested as a result, where during processing, officers seized 32 grams of Fentanyl, 17 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, illicit Ritalin tablets and hydromorphone tablets.
Officers also located $1000 in cash, drug paraphernalia, cell phones, digital scales, packaging, a flick knife and a wooden baton, which were seized.
Caudle now faces a slew of charges including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2, Drug Possession x3, Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, Drive While Under Suspension, Use Plate Not Authorized, Fail to Surrender Permit, Drive no Insurance and Use Validation not Furnished for Vehicle.
He was held for a court appearance.
