The doors may be locked, but the Church of God in Aylmer drew as big a crowd as ever.
Aylmer Police report that on Sunday, over 200 vehicles were in the Church of God parking lot and well over 400 people were in attendance.
As a result, Aylmer Police have charged the Church of God restoration with; Corporation – fail to comply with a continued section 7.0.2 order.
Also charged were a 57 year old male from Aylmer, a 26 Year old male from Aylmer and a 26 year old male from Steinbach, Manitoba with; Individual – fail to comply with a continued section 7.0.2 order.
Aylmer Police say they are looking into further options to ensure compliance with this church in order to protect the community from harm.
On Friday, Church of God had been fined $35,000, Pastor Henry Hildebrandt fined $10,000 and assistant Pastor Peter Wall $3,000.
The Church has also been ordered to pay $69,000 in legal costs.
The doors on the church building were locked as per the court order Friday.
