Road safety was the focus for the Aylmer Police Service this past long weekend, who laid 38 traffic related chargers between May 21st and 24th.
Aylmer Police officers targeted offences related to impaired driving, aggressive driving, distracted driving and driving without seatbelt.
Throughout the weekend officers issued…
23 – Speeding charges
4 – non moving violations
3 – moving violations
2 – Liquor license act charges
2 – failing to wear seatbelts charges
1 – Distracted Driving charge
2 – Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act charges
1 – Impaired Driving charge.
Police also report that only one collision was investigated throughout the weekend.
