All eyes will be to the skies this Saturday in St. Thomas for ‘The AirFest Salute to All Essential Workers.’
The salute, which was originally scheduled to take place in April, prior to the now expired Stay ay Home Order, is a way to say thank you to everyone who has gone above and beyond throughout the pandemic.
The salute will be taking place all across the skies of St. Thomas, with the first plane expected around 12:30, and fly overs continuing until roughly 3 p.m.
St. Thomas Airfest reminds the community that no planes will be landing at the St. Thomas airport.
For anyone who wishes to watch the ‘salute’ with some commentary, St. Thomas Airfest will be hosting a live stream beginning at 12:45 p.m. The live stream link will be posted at www.airfest.ca.
