For Chanthan Mom of St. Thomas, playing the lottery for over 20 years has finally paid off.
Calling it her first big win, the 55 year old mother says she checked her ticket while still at the store. “I was so happy about my win! I told my daughter right away when I got home. She looked at my validation slip and was in shock – we both were!”
It was the last ticket at the store at the time, so she decided to buy it said Mom. That decision turned out to be a winning one, with Mom taking home $150,000 playing a Bigger Spin Instant Ticket.
Mom added that “My whole family was surprised when I told them, they’ve never seen anything like this before.”
At this time, Mom has no concrete plans for her winnings.
The $150,000 winning ticket was purchased at Wellington Variety in St. Thomas.
