The province this morning is reporting 130 new COVID-19 cases while Southwestern Public Health is reporting 13 new cases with 2 resolved since Friday.
There was 2 new cases in both St. Thomas and Aylmer and a single cases reported in Bayham.
The death total remains at 84 since the pandemic began.
There are 20 ongoing cases in the health unit’s coverage area with 7 in Woodstock, 3 in St. Thomas, 2 each in Aylmer, East Zorra-Tavistock, and Zorra and one each in Bayham, Blandford-Blenheim, and Norwich Township.
A total of 859 cases have been variants of concern with 47 confirmed cases of the Delta variant.
There are no active institutional cases.
There is one hospitalization with the individual not in the ICU. Of the cases hospitalized since the pandemic began, 34.5 per cent were admitted to the ICU.
Eight of the cases are individuals under the age of 50, with one of those under the age of 20.
The number of resolved cases is 3,822.
