St. Thomas’s Dyllan and Zoey Bretz are buckling up their helmets once again this August to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge Canada.
The local father/daughter duo are using the remaining time before kids head back to school to cycle in support of the fight against childhood cancer notes Dyllan.
He adds that it’s a great way to test yourself by setting said goals.
The Great Cycle Challenge is a fundraiser in support of research to develop treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer, a disease Dyllan says impacts everyone in one way or another.
Dyllan and Zoey have set their fundraising goal at $3000, up from $1500 last year and have added an additional 100 km to their ride goal of 300 km.
He says that at this point, they are just 2 of almost 20,000 participants in the challenge.
To help support Dyllan, Zoey, and children across the country dealing with a childhood cancer diagnosis, you can donate here.
