Canadian musician Tyler Shaw is celebrating the release of this self-titled album with a pop up concert in St. Thomas this Saturday.
myFM had the opportunity to chat with Tyler about the free event taking place as Shaw’s Ice Cream from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Tyler says it’s going to be an exciting return to the stage after many months away from live performances.
As for why he chose Shaw’s Ice Cream for his first show of 2021, Tyler says it’s a match made in heaven.
He adds that it helps that Shaw’s has the best vanilla ice cream around.
As for what he’s most looking forward to on Saturday, Tyler had this to say.
The show will be a celebration for his new album “Tyler Shaw” which comes out today (August 20th).
After 2 year of working on the album, Tyler says it’s a very exciting day for him.
Reminiscing on the track list, Tyler says one of his favourites off the album is “When You’re Home.”
Tyler will be performing “When You’re Home” and more this Saturday.
The show is 100% free to attend, with no tickets required.
