Southwestern Public Health is seeking the public’s assistance following a dog biting incident in Dutton Friday.
The incident took place around 12:30 p.m. at Dutton Farm and Auto Shop on Currie Road.
It is reported that the owner of the dog was at the mechanic shop for a tire repair while the dog was left in the vehicle. The mechanic then entered the car to do an odometer reading, when the dog bit him on the face.
The dog is described as a large breed with brindle colouring, possibly a Pyrenean Mastiff, with the owner driving a gold 2009 Chevrolet Equinox.
