The body of a swimmer who went missing on the weekend at Port Burwell Provincial Park has been found.
Monday around noon, OPP Aviation Services located the missing swimmer on the shoreline, about 13 kilometres east of the park.
He has been identified as 25-year-old Daniel Sosa-Zerebecka of St Catharines. A post-mortem was scheduled to take place today (Tuesday).
Emergency crews responded to the park Saturday around 2 p.m. after reports of a missing swimmer and three near drownings. Two swimmers encountered difficulties in the water and two others who attempted to rescue them also began to struggle.
An individual on shore threw a life-saving ring into the water and was able to rescue three of the four people.
