Following the unfortunate cancellation of their last 2 seasons, St. Thomas Optimist Softball is preparing to welcome kids back to the field next year by recruiting members for the 2022 volunteer executive committee.
Current Vice President Larissa Foote says they are currently seeking volunteers for 5 positions, including Treasurer, Umpire-in-Chief, Equipment Manager, Coach Coordinator, and Fundraising Coordinator.
Foote says that without these volunteers, operation would not be possible.
She adds that becoming an executive committee member benefits more than just the league.
With the help of this new executive committee, St. Thomas Optimist Softball hopes to bring fun back to these kids lives next summer.
