London is on track to be added to the GO Train network next month with a weekday service to Toronto.
The provincial government says the new service will also connect customers to Stratford and St. Marys.
GO Train trips between London and Union Station in Toronto will begin October 18th with an approximate journey time of four hours.
The current VIA Rail service through those two communities takes three and a half hours.
The pilot project will include one trip leaving from London in the early morning, and one return trip in the evening.
