Picking up where the Greyhound left off is paying dividends for St. Thomas-based Badder Bus.
The company, in partnership with discount operator Megabus, on July 15 began operating two runs a day between London and Toronto. Two months later and the service has proven so popular they are doubling up to four a day, Thursday through Monday.
Company president, Doug Badder, says the expansion of service came quicker than expected.
Badder advises two of the runs now operate to Western University. He adds more and more of the trips are selling out with 46 seats available to maintain social distancing.
And negotiations are underway to expand the service to Windsor, advises company Badder.
Badder provides the buses and drivers for the operation while Megabus handles the online ticketing.
