The STEAM Education Centre in St. Thomas are celebrating their 5 year anniversary this Saturday by hosting an outdoor Open House for the community.
Denise Love Community and Communications Coordinator at STEAM explains what they have planned for the day.
The STEAM Centre will also be teaming up the Ignite Youth Centre for the Open House, who will also be hosting some activities.
The Open House is taking place outside in the STEAM Education Centre’s back lot from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Love adds that they have a plan in place in the event of a rain filled Saturday.
She notes, how exciting of a milestones their 5 year anniversary is.
Looking ahead, Love says they hope to continue to develop new and innovative programs and workshops to teaching local students and community members about STEAM Education.
