Elgin OPP have identified the motorist killed yesterday (Wednesday) in a two-vehicle collision on Imperial Road as 18-year-old Mya Klassen of Aylmer.
Just after 5 a.m., emergency crews responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a transport truck on Imperial Road between Lyons and Mapleton lines.
It was determined a northbound transport truck and a southbound vehicle collided head-on.
Klassen was pronounced dead at the scene while the transport driver was not injured.
She was born in St. Thomas and attended Western University.
Her obituary notes her dream was to work with troubled youth.
Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer tomorrow (Friday) from 7 to 9 p.m.
Police are continuing with their investigation.
