They’ve been rolling across the Province the past couple of months and tomorrow, the GO-VAXX Bus will makes its way to Elgin County.
The Ontario government has partnered with Metrolinx for a new, convenient option for people to receive their COVID-19 vaccine.
Each bus operates as a fully functioning vaccine clinic with the necessary supplies and trained staff.
Doctor Joyce Lock, Medical Officer of Health with South Western Public Health outlines where the GO-VAXX Bus will be heading.
All COVID-19 safety precautions will be followed on board, including the required pre-vaccination screening and post-vaccination monitoring.
At this time the GO-VAXX buses are administering first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine, for anyone born in 2009 or earlier.
The GO-VAXX Bus will be at the Bayham Township Fire Station (Port Burwell) from 12 to 4 p.m. and then the Straffordville Community Centre from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, with no appointment is required.
