The Aylmer Police are continuing to investigate after a Black Chiappa Revolver was reported stolen Thursday.
Initial investigation revealed that the owner of the firearm left the revolver in the glovebox of his unlocked vehicle, when sometime overnight, unknown persons entered and stole the firearm from the glovebox.
The revolver is described as a dark steel colour with a wooden handle and rivets.
Anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of the revolver are asked to call the Aylmer Police or Crimestoppers.
Police do report that the owner of the firearm, a 29 year old male from Aylmer has been charged with; Careless storage of the firearm and Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited or restricted weapon within that vehicle as a result.
