The St. Thomas Police are continuing to investigate after Circle K Convenience, located on the corner of Fairview and Elm Streets was robbed early Monday morning.
Police report that around 3:30 a.m., a male wearing a mid length black coat, jeans, black shoes, work gloves and carrying a duffel bag, threatened the clerk with a gun and demanded money and cigarettes.
A small amount of cash and several packages of cigarettes were taken before the suspect left on foot walking on Taylor Crescent. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Police would like to ask residents in the area to check any private security cameras and contact them if they have footage related to the incident.
