The motorist killed in a crash Thursday morning in Central Elgin has been identified as 22-year-old Olivia Vaseleniuck.
Just before 9 a.m., emergency crews responded to Ron McNeil Line, just east of Highbury Avenue for a collision involving two vehicles.
Both drivers were taken to hospital where Vaseleniuck was pronounced dead.
The other driver was treated for minor injuries and released.
Ron McNeil Line between Highbury Avenue and Yarmouth Centre Road was closed throughout the day.
Elgin OPP are continuing with their investigation and further updates will be released when available.
