The Provincial Government is investing over $25 million to help build and repair local infrastructure across Elgin-Middlesex.
The funding announced by MPP Jeff Yurek, is is part of the government’s plan to build Ontario by getting shovels in the ground on critical infrastructure projects that support economic recovery, growth and job creation.
Local allocation numbers show that funding has roughly doubled from 2021 to 2022.

MPP Yurek noted “I look forward to seeing all the ways that this funding contributes to a safe and stable future for our rural communities.”
This is part of the government’s additional $1 billion investment to help build and repair roads, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure in small, rural and northern communities.
