The province this morning is reporting 4,383 new COVID-19 cases, with 10 new deaths.
Southwestern Public Health is reporting 29 new cases, with 19 resolved.
The death toll is 110 since the pandemic began.
There are seven new cases in St. Thomas, five in Central Elgin, two in Aylmer and Dutton/Dunwich and one in Malahide.
There are 328 ongoing cases in the health unit’s coverage area with 84 in St. Thomas, 76 in Woodstock, 25 in Ingersoll, 20 in Central Elgin and Tillsonburg, 15 in Zorra, 14 in Aylmer, 13 in Norwich, 12 in Blandford-Blenheim, 11 in Dutton/Dunwich and SW Oxford, nine in East Zorra-Tavistock, eight in Malahide, five in Bayham, four in West Elgin and one in Southwold.
There are 11 resident cases and nine staff cases and two deaths at Caressant Care Bonnie Place in St. Thomas.
There are 11 hospitalizations at this time, with four in ICU. Of the cases hospitalized since the pandemic began, 34.7 per cent were admitted to the ICU.
Two hundred and forty-six of the cases are individuals under the age of 50, with 98 of those under the age of 20.
The number of resolved cases is 5,588.
A total of 156,700 residents in the region have been fully immunized or 73.6 per cent.
There are 155.1 ongoing confirmed cases per 100,000 population in the SWPH region as compared to 191.3 per 100,000 in the Middlesex-London Health Unit region. The crude rate for St. Thomas is 215.9 cases per 100,000 population and 186.9 cases per 100,000 population for Aylmer.
The assessment centre at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital undertook 170 tests Saturday. The West Elgin Community Health Centre did 58 Friday.
