When Christmas wraps up this year and you are lugging those recycling bins to the curb, be mindful of what you are displaying to the public.
The OPP knows that you can’t wait for the garbage and recycling trucks to come by your house to take away the piles of boxes. But they’re providing a little tip to the public before you do so.

He says, sadly, for many criminals this is the time of year they like to scout out homes.
Sanchuk says taking a few minutes to cut up boxes and turn them inside out could make sure you home isn’t a target during the holidays.
