Southwestern Public Health is providing residents in Elgin County with two opportunities this week to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
On Wednesday, the GO VAXX buss will return to the area for a vaccination clinic taking place at the East Elgin Community Complex in Aylmer from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those interested in receiving their, first, second or booster dose of the vaccine on Wednesday must book an appointment through the provincial booking portal, and not directly with SWPH.
On Thursday, a pop up clinic will be taking place at the Straffordville Community Centre from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with walk-ins available.
SWPH notes that walk-ins will be managed using an on-site ticketing system, meaning they will hand out the equivalent number of tickets to doses they have available.
