When planes are parked on the ground for months at a time and ships are tied up in port and they’re not cruising, it’s a terrible omen for the travel industry.
And that’s been the case on and off for two years.
However, Marion Rose at Elgin Travel and Cruises in St. Thomas feels we’re close to exiting the turbulence and there is a pent-up demand to hop aboard those planes and ships to just about anywhere.
Rose believes the warmer weather may herald a turnaround for the industry. In particular demand for European destinations.
So what are some other hot destinations this spring and summer? Rose has a few imaginative suggestions.
Rose adds her staff can’t wait to help people plan that long-overdue getaway.
