Area curling fans are in for a treat in a little over a year. Budweiser Gardens in London will play host to the 2023 Tim Hortons Brier.
The national men’s curling championship is scheduled for March 3 to the 12. London hosted the Brier in 2011 and Peter Inch, vice-chair of the host committee, says as was the case 11 years ago, London knows how to put on a great show.
Inch added, “we have a dedicated group of volunteers who know the ropes.”
Although London hosted the Brier in 2011, that didn’t mean it was necessarily a slam dunk when it applied for next year’s event.
Inch, outlines some of the resources required to secure the men’s national curling championship, March 3-12 at Budweiser Gardens.
Inch stresses to pull it off a successful event of this stature, you need a dedicated group of volunteers.
Full event ticket packages are expected to go on sale in the coming weeks.

The winner of the 2023 Brier will represent Canada in April at the World Men’s Curling Championship to be held in a Canadian city to be announced later this year.
