Southwestern Public Health reported at least 104 new COVID-19 cases since Friday with 193 resolved.
The death toll is now 147 since the pandemic began.
There are 33 new cases in St. Thomas, four in Central Elgin, two in Aylmer, Dutton-Dunwich and Bayham and one in Southwold.
The percent positivity rate in the region is 14.9 %.
There are 394 ongoing cases in the health unit’s coverage area with 123 in St. Thomas, 101 in Woodstock, 42 in Tillsonburg, 19 in Aylmer and Ingersoll, 17 in Zorra, 16 in East Zorra-Tavistock, 12 in Central Elgin, SW Oxford and Norwich, five in Bayham, Dutton-Dunwich and Blandford-Blenheim, three in Southwold, two in West Elgin and one in Malahide.
There are 27 residents and 10 staff cases at Metcalfe Gardens, 28 resident and 20 staff cases at Elgin Manor and seven resident and 17 staff cases at Chartwell in Aylmer.
There are 24 hospitalizations at this time, with six in ICU. Of the cases hospitalized since the pandemic began, 30.7 per cent were admitted to the ICU.
The number of resolved cases is 10,321.
A total of 93,822 residents in the region have had three doses of a vaccine or 57.0 per cent.
There are 180.4 ongoing confirmed cases per 100,000 population in the SWPH region as compared to 275.7 per 100,000 in the Middlesex-London Health Unit region. The crude rate for St. Thomas is 288.7 cases per 100,000 population and 229.0 cases per 100,000 population for Aylmer.
