As of today, youth age 12-17 are able to receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Southwestern Public Health Clinics.
Whether you prefer to book an appointment or drop in to a clinic, Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Joyce Lock says that those hoping to receive a booster are advised to wait between their second dose
Dr. Lock notes that those who have previously contracted COVID-19 are advised to wait as well.
Those aged 12-17 will receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine as advised by the Ministry of Health.
To book an appointment, visit Covidvaccinelm.ca or walk-in to the St. Thomas Memorial Auditorium, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Closed from noon to 1 p.m. daily)
Weekend clinics will also be taking place at West Elgin Secondary School on Saturday, February 26th and East Elgin Secondary School on Saturday, March 5th from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
