It was never a dream of Jolie’s to have an Art Studio and Snack Shop, however creating art in service to her community is a calling she can get behind, and Taste Makers Studio is an amalgamation of two ideas that lets her do justthat! The decision to expand the business to include a comic book shop was born out of analready enormous love for comics and the need to create and activate more spaces in the city’s downtown core.
Committing her energy to open and maintain a small business in the middle of a pandemic also allowed Jolie to meet and engage the citizens of the City of St Thomas in a way that she wouldn’t have been able to from behind a computer screen. With the new expansion, she looks forward to meeting even more people whose interests now intersect with mine!
