Sexual Assault and Assault with a Weapon are the among the chargers laid against a 35 year old St. Thomas man following an investigation.
Detectives from the St. Thomas Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch undertook the investigation involving 2 child victims. The male has been charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Assault with a Weapon.
He was taken into custody without incident and later released on an undertaking with court date.
Police do note that the children are now in a place of safety.
