From the moment the company was founded in 1954, Doug Tarry Homes has been committed to bettering the community we call home.
It’s evident in the work they do, not only through the countless construction projects and home builds, but their philanthropy.
In their latest effort to give back to the community, the local home builder has teamed up with myFM to present Doug Tarry Donation Days. The new contest seeks recommendations from the community on local organizations in need of a hand up.
Then beginning in May, the 4 organizations with the most nominations will each have a week full of “Doug Tarry Donation Days”, where the community will have the opportunity to support those who need it most.
Suzie Dennis, Director of Community Engagement at Doug Tarry Homes explains where they come in!
Each organization will have the chance at receiving up to $10,000, as Doug Tarry Homes will match donations up to $5,000.
She notes how excited they are for this opportunity to give back!
She adds, its something that has been instilled in the Tarry family, dating back to their father Doug Tarry Sr.
Dennis notes that Doug Tarry Donation Days is the perfect chance for the community to have their voice be heard.
