Job seekers in the area will have an opportunity to meet with over 40 potential employers next week as Employment Services Elgin gets set to host their first in person event in 2 years.
The job fair, taking place Thursday, April 21st at the Elgin Centre is open to anyone seeking work, whether that be their first job, a new job, or even a second job.
Jodi Annett-Kish, Manager of Program Delivery at Employment Services Elgin explains how those interested in attending the job fair can prepare.
As far as the day of the job fair, Mark Durbridge, Job Developer with Employment Services Elgin reminds attendees to dress to impress and have their resume ready to go.
He adds that those seeking transportation to the job fair can utilize free public transit.
Those who preregister for the job fair will receive a list of companies and jobs that are available before the event, as well as an opportunity to win an iPad and gift cards.
