A follow up to a story we brought you last week as more products have been added to the recall list of certain Kinder brand chocolates.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the recall is linked to an outbreak of salmonella across Europe and the UK.
The new recalled items include Kinder Advent Calendars, Kinder Surprise Frozen, Kinder Surprise Trolls and Kinder Surprise The Smurfs.
All of the affected products were sold nationally in a variety of sizes, with best before dates ranging from March 2nd, 2022 to November 29th, 2022.
No illnesses have been reported in Canada at this time.
More details and photos of the affected products can be found here.
