As a way to celebrate the success of the Track to the Future Mural project here in St. Thomas, a new festival highlighting its work is coming this July.
The Track to the Future Mural Festival, hosted by Railway City Tourism will help finally showcase the new art pieces that have been popping up across St. Thomas throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
While the project was initially launched back in 2019, a number of additions have been made in the past few years notes Tourism Manager Megan Pickersgill.
The festival will take place July 16th, adding to an already exciting month at Railway City Tourism notes Pickersgill
For those familiar with or have been missing the Railway City Arts Crawl, Pickersgill says you’ll want to keep the date open.
She adds that the lack of events the past couple years has people really excited for the upcoming season.
Planning in still underway for the Track to the Future Mural Festival with the hope of having pop-up events, artisans, food options, live music, and immersive and interactive art.
