A new contest at the St. Thomas Public Library is seeking the creative ideas of our youngest residents.
The Library Card Design Contest asks the community to submit their designs for the next children’s library card as Mallory Pearce Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the library explains.
The contest is open to those 0 to 12 years old, and gives participants free range for creativity notes Pearce.
She adds that with many changes to library over the past couple years, the contest is a great way to get people excited again.
Those participating are asked to use the template available online or at the library, and return it by Tuesday, May 10th in order to be considered.
The chosen design will then be printed as a limited edition library card for little ones.
Pearce adds that the winner of the design contest will also receive a library swag bag.
A link to the template can be found here.
