May 15th to 21st is Police Week across Ontario and services are being encourage to highlight the work they do each day.
For the St. Thomas Police Service, they’ll turn to social media to help better educate the public on what a typical day is like for officers down at the station.
That was Corporate Communications Officer Tanya Calvert, who adds how amazing it is to work with a group of individuals who are committed to bettering the community.
And that goes hand and hand with the theme for Police Week 2022, which is “Your Police Services: Helping Build Safer Communities”.
The theme also emphasizes the importance of ongoing collaboration between police and community partners to support a holistic approach to service delivery and response efforts.
