What’s open and closed on Victoria Day

With the long weekend upon us, here’s what’s open and what’s closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County.

All municipal buildings, offices, as well as banks will be closed on Monday.

Grocery stores, including Walmart, the Real Canadian Superstore, Foodland, FreshCo, Food Basics, Metro and M&M Food Market will also be closed.

Briwood Farm Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday and Shoppers Drug mart at 410 Talbot Street will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Canadale Nurseries will also be open on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Beer Store and LCBO will be closed on Victoria Day, however Lynhurst Esso and Variety will be open including for the purchase of alcohol from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

You are reminded that a fireworks display hosted by the Malahide Firefighter’s Association South Station will be taking place Sunday in Port Bruce.

Also, myFM will be spending Saturday in the village for Hello Port Stanley and we’d love to see you there!
