The Aylmer Police have charged a 36 year old resident following an altercation involving three teenagers and a machete.
Police responded to the area of Talbot Street West last Tuesday, for a report of a verbal altercation involving three males and a female.
Investigation reveled that a verbal dispute between the 36 year old male and a 14 year old male from Cambridge, 17 year old male from Aylmer and 19 year old female from Cambridge escalated when the 36 year old pulled out a machete and threatened the teenagers with it.
As a result, the 36 year old Aylmer resident has been charged with threatening.
Police do note that all involved are known to each other and have been involved in previous verbal disputes with each other.
