The C.A.L.I.P.S.O Festival will officially make a return to the village of Port Stanley this summer following its revival in 2019.
Running from July 29th to August 1st, the historic festival attracting people from all over, is the collaboration of local business owners who are looking to keep Port Stanley as a thriving tourist destination.
Calipso Committee Chair Marna Berry explains why the festival is so important to the village of Port Stanley.
And after finally receiving approval from the Central Elgin special events committee, Berry says they’re now calling out to the community for support.
With plans currently underway, the Calipso Festival is actively recruiting sponsors, vendors and volunteers.
Those hoping to learn more or get involved can reach out to the committee through their Facebook Page.
